Located in southwest Wisconsin, Iowa County has a long tradition as a recreational area, featuring Blackhawk Lake Recreation Area and Governor Dodge State Park. The area includes attractions like House on the Rock, the Taliesin, and American Players Theater.
Iowa County is partnering with UniverCity from 2023-24 to study the feasibility of consolidating services within the county, and regionally with other counties and local governments.
