Monroe County is home to 34 cities, towns and villages and known for cranberry and dairy farming, cold water streams, wildlife, and bike trails. Like other communities in Wisconsin and across the nation, Monroe County has recognized the toll the opioid crisis has taken on residents in the county. The county is working with UniverCity to conduct an environmental scan to better understand and visualize access to resources related to treatment, recovery, overdose reversal, and prevention strategies.
