UniverCity Vernon County
Vernon County is located in the heart of the Driftless Area and features a diverse economy centered on agriculture, healthcare, education, tourism, and small manufacturing. The county is known for its leadership in organic and natural agricultural production, alongside a strong base of conventional farming and traditional farming of the Plain community. It is home to Organic Valley and a growing number of small food manufacturers and value-added producers. Vernon County is partnering with UniverCity Alliance to address flood mitigation.
