Nine students, ranging from UW–Madison undergraduate juniors to PhD students, are working with local governments on community-identified priorities during the Fall 2023 semester.
During a summer term School of Human Ecology class, students partnered with five cities across the nation to analyze city plans in the context of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
UniverCity Alliance Cochair and University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Human Ecology Distinguished Teaching Faculty Lori DiPrete Brown published an article in Oxford Research Encyclopedias, Economics and Finance on how the SDG 360 Thinking framework advances sustainability, economic prosperity, and equity.
The events were held as a part of the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s 175th anniversary celebration.
