The partnership between the Wisconsin School of Business, the City of Madison, and UniverCity Alliance is celebrating its fifth year of providing applied learning experiences to real estate students.
Village of DeForest Community Development Director Alex Allon completed a two-year master’s degree in urban and regional planning in 2020. During the fall semester, he worked with students through a UniverCity Alliance partnership.
After graduating with a master’s in business analytics from the Wisconsin School of Business in 2024, Prajakta Godbole partnered with the City of Appleton through UniverCity Alliance.

After graduating with a master’s degree in business analytics from the Wisconsin School of Business in May 2024, Rohith Madduru partnered with Chippewa County to spearhead an IT staffing analysis.
This fall, UniverCity Alliance’s Scholars are working with the Town of Irving, City of Beaver Dam, the Village of DeForest, Sheboygan County, and UW South Madison Partnership.
UniverCity Alliance and the Department of Political Science seek two students to conduct policy research for the Dane County Board of Supervisors during the Fall 2025 semester.
