The Nov. 20 League of Wisconsin Municipalities Food for Thought webinar featured UniverCity Alliance and partnerships with the City of Waupaca and the Village of DeForest.
The inaugural capstone project for the graduate sustainability certificate paired students with the City of Waupaca through UniverCity Alliance.
UniverCity Alliance connected the Village of Mount Pleasant and City of Waupaca with graduate students in the Nelson Institute’s Environmental Conservation MS program to address environmental conservation goals.
This is the second cohort of students that UniverCity has brought together through the UCA Scholars program, which is funded by UW alumni.
For the second year, UniverCity Alliance Scholars are working with local governments on community-identified priorities.
