PhD student Yaxuan Yin connected with Iowa County through the UCA Scholars Program, which is supported by the Division of Continuing Studies.
This is the second cohort of students that UniverCity has brought together through the UCA Scholars program, which is funded by UW alumni.
For the second year, UniverCity Alliance Scholars are working with local governments on community-identified priorities.
The villages of DeForest and Mount Pleasant; the city of Waupaca; and Chippewa, Jackson, and Iowa counties are working with UniverCity Alliance to connect with University of Wisconsin–Madison resources.
