UniverCity Year has partnered with 29 local governments and communities across Wisconsin. Its most recent cohort welcomed nine communities – a record for the program.
Through a UniverCity Year partnership, School of Journalism & Mass Communication students visited Polk County, including Balsam Lake, Amery, St. Croix Falls, and Osceola in March to inform a strategic messaging campaign project.
Polk County is partnering with UniverCity Year from 2021-24 to develop a unique identity and brand for the area.

UniverCity is working with the City of Stoughton, Outagamie, Columbia and Polk counties; Town of Germantown and a unique collaboration that includes the City of Sun Prairie, towns of Deerfield and Cottage Grove and the Friends of Koshkonong Creek.
