The University of Wisconsin 175th Anniversary state tour kicked back up this summer with a first stop in the Fox Valley. UniverCity Alliance celebrated with Mosquito Hill Nature Center as a part of a partnership with Outagamie County.

Outagamie and La Crosse counties partnered with UniverCity Alliance and the La Follette School of Public Affairs to research innovative solutions.
UniverCity Year has partnered with 29 local governments and communities across Wisconsin. Its most recent cohort welcomed nine communities – a record for the program.
Through UniverCity Year, University of Wisconsin–Madison senior Sam Pozen researched a microgrid at the Appleton International Airport and updates to the county’s highway access control ordinance in two engineering courses.
Undergraduate journalism and Wisconsin School of Business graduate students will work together to bolster the nature center’s stream of visitors and revenue.
