Sun Prairie is taking the No Mow May community initiative to the next level with the Wisconsin Wild Bee App (WiBee).
Through Columbia County’s partnership with UniverCity year, UW–Madison student Alan Tipple researched strategies to recruit and retain new workers whose primary language is not English.
Through a UniverCity Year partnership, School of Journalism & Mass Communication students visited Polk County, including Balsam Lake, Amery, St. Croix Falls, and Osceola in March to inform a strategic messaging campaign project.
UW-Madison Master of Public Health students partnered with Columbia County’s village of Rio through UniverCity Year.
Wisconsin Rapids used UniverCity Year projects as a launching point to create a digital public art inventory, a framework for the city to support public art, and the South Wood County Cultural Coalition.
Funding from the Kemper K. Knapp Bequest is supporting student interns with stipends to conduct projects that address Madison priorities.
