This April, UniverCity Alliance is highlighting how University of Wisconsin–Madison students, faculty, staff, and instructors drive Wisconsin’s economy.
Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply to the UniverCity Alliance Scholars Program by April 15.
This March, UniverCity Alliance highlights how University of Wisconsin–Madison students, faculty, staff, and instructors contribute to medical and scientific impacts around the state through local government partnerships.
The 2023 Wisconsin Idea Conference will examine the university’s relationship to the Wisconsin Idea through the lens of community-university engagement.
Through UniverCity Alliance, students are connected to community-based projects that help prepare them for future careers.

Chancellor Jennifer Mnookin addressed the UW System Board of Regents at its first meeting of the year on Feb. 9 and mentioned UniverCity Year as an “example of the power of System-wide partnerships.”
Though UniverCity Alliance’s Welcome to Your Urban Future course, University of Wisconsin–Madison sophomore Shawn Zhu was connected to a leadership role in Madison’s local government.
